We are just over the first half of our season and it has been a great one so far, despite the rain and air advisories forcing many cancellations. House leagues are in full swing with UOVLL teams coming out victorious at minor, major and Jr/Sr midseason tournaments. Tball and rookie had a great kick off event and are having fun and learning all about ball. Our girls' softball program has doubled in size and they have been enjoying a great season mostly out at Stafford diamond. The older girls have an optional local tournament coming up in July that they are looking forward to hosting.

On the all star front, the majors won a tournament in Kingston and are looking forward to playdowns in Pembroke next week to hopefully advance to provincials. The intermediate team has won playdowns and are headed to provincials in Ottawa in early July. The senior team starts their Provincials in Pembroke next week, come cheer them on. The juniors and minor programs have also attended tournaments with more to come and the rookies had their first double header.
We are looking forward to the rest of the season with year end events and tournaments and the all star teams that are attending more tournaments including the Scott Tokessy where nearly every one of our all star teams will be attending in Kanata as a fundraiser for CHEO.
