Minor and Major Rules
- Event is a Little League sanctioned event, all rules default to the Little League rule book if not outlined below.
- Every team is guaranteed 3 games.
- A complete game is 4 innings
- Games are 6 innings and no new inning after 1 hour 45 minutes and games will end at 2 hour hard stop. If the inning has not finished at that time, score will revert back to the last complete inning unless the home team is at bat and has tied or gone ahead during the inning.
- Round robin games can end in ties. If the score is tied in a playoff or finals game, the extra inning will begin with the last out on second base (international tie breaker rules).
- If in the bottom half of the last inning of a game the home team is winning, then the home team will not take their last at bat.
- Mercy rule is in effect. 5 run max per inning for all games. In semis finals and finals the last inning will be an open inning.
- If after 3 complete innings in round robin a team is up by 10 runs or more, mercy rule will be applied and the game will end. Mercy rule of 10 runs after 4 complete innings in effect for final games.
- Pitching:
- Maximum 2 innings per game per player Minor. Maximum 3 innings per game per player Major.
- A maximum of 4 innings in ONE day for any given pitcher in Major and Minor Division. A total of 7 innings for the entire tournament. Please be mindful of your pitchers arms and follow guidelines for arm care.
- One pitch in an inning counts as an inning pitched.
- Once a pitcher has been removed from a game they cannot be re-inserted as a pitcher in the same game. They may play any other position.
- Only one mound visit by coach per player per inning, unless to pull the pitcher or to attend to an injured pitcher.
- Hit by pitch is on discretion of the umpires
- All players present at the game are to be listed in the batting order and must bat in turn.
- The last recorded out can be used as a pinch runner for the catcher or pitcher if they are on base or reaches base safely with 2 outs.
- A team may field with a min of 8 players. Less than 8 players result in a game forfeiture. If during the game, an injury or ejection causes a team to field less than 8 players, this will result in forfeiture regardless of the score or point in the game. Forfeit games will be recorded as a 10-0 loss.
- Unlimited defensive re-entry and substitution is permitted except for the pitcher.
- Two adult base coaches are permitted or a registered team player wearing a helmet, on adult in dugout at all times.
- The umpire’s decision is final. Abuse of umpires will not be tolerated and will result with removal from the park. Any belligerent parent or fan will be warned then on the second offence the coach of the team involved will be ejected from the game. A third offence will result in forfeiture of the game.
- The tournament director or league president will handle tournament decisions and decisions are final.
- Home team for round robin will be determined by a coin toss. Semifinals and finals determined by standings.
- Infield fly rule is in effect for Major and Senior.
- Drop third strike will be in play for Major and Seniors.
- Balks will be called for Senior division NO warnings will be given. Major(only) will be a warning for the 1st infraction, an automatic ball will be added to the count for each infraction following the warning.
- No head first slide in Minor or Major (dive back to base allowed)
- Ball is alive till called by Umpires or if pitch steps on their rubber
- No lead offs until the ball passes the leading edge of the plate in Minor or Major
- Only Wood Bat are permitted. No BAUM bats or wood composite bats allowed. Wood bats found in dugouts are to stay there for the weekend for all players to use if they need a wood bat.
- Balls will be provided by the tournament
- Coaches will not smoke during games. Proper attire will be worn, including closed-toed shoes.
- No alcohol is permitted on or in parking lots around diamonds to city bylaws
- No on deck batters for Minor and Major Division
- Standings in each division will be decided as follows: 3 points for a win. 1 point for a tie. 0 points for a loss.
- Ties in the standings will be broken as follows:
- Head-to-Head (unless a 3-way tie - in which case go to #2)
- Least total runs against
- Ratio - total runs for / (total runs for + total runs against)
- Coin toss

RAINOUTS
In the event some or all games are unable to be played due to weather.
-Zero games played = full refund minus $50 admin fee
-One game played = 50% refund minus $50 admin fee
-Two games played = no refund
We reserve the right to modify rules/formats etc in order to complete as many games as possible

Senior Rules

- Mercy rule is in effect. 15 runs after 4 inning\10 after 5 inning
- Unlimited substitution
- No cap on the innings (Pitching, pitch count/ days rest in effect)

- Balks will be called for Senior division NO warnings will be given
- Two adult base coaches are permitted or a registered team player wearing a helmet, on adult in dugout at all times.
